MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Reaching out to those who need our help

When you choose KSI to partner with to change your training and or coaching outcomes, you’re also choosing to create positive change in our world. Because with every product and or service you purchase, you contribute to supporting those who need our help and support.

Personally, sports training and competition has been great to us, and we want to give back and share the benefits we have received.  Your decision to support us means you are also supporting incredible causes that involve people who really care, and people who really need our help.

In collaboration with our thoughtfully selected non-profit partners, we’re providing fundamental human needs as well as in some cases greater sporting opportunities. So when you collaborate with us through our products and services to change your life, you are also contributing to positive change in other’s lives.

Here’s how we are making a difference together!

Athlete’s Direction

Athlete’s Direction is a nonprofit foundation providing financial assistance to student athletes through training program scholarships, competition sponsorships, or equipment provisions. It is their mission to help dedicated student athletes reach their fullest potential.

Athletes Direction is the creation of Phil Smith from Cape Cod MA USA (also as L3 KSI Coach) and focuses on three key areas – sponsorship, scholarships, and equipment.

Sponsorships

We provide sponsorships to assist athletes with the financial responsibilities that come with competing in their sport. We have sponsored athletes at state, local, and national level competitions.

Scholarships

We help athletes with the costs of high-quality training programs that focus on strength and conditioning as well as sport-specific skill building.

Equipment

We provide athletes with the equipment that they need to practice and compete safely and at their highest potential.

United Kidz Soccer Development

UKSD’s mission envisages social change through soccer. UKSD uses the fun of soccer to develop community minded youth leaders, encouraging them to make an impact locally and beyond. This foundational belief underpins all UKSD’s initiatives to use soccer to raise awareness about how social issues of homelessness, hunger, and substance abuse affect not only their own communities but the larger world. UKSD believes we can create active partners who can help change individuals and communities. UKSD offers kids and teens opportunities to have fun, and create lasting friendships as they learn soccer, while at the same time enabling them to develop their character, cultivate a desire to help others, and create positive social changes.

UKSD programs not only have an impact on kids and teens on Cape Cod but also throughout the U.S. and the entire world. We use the game of soccer to educate each participant on social issues that affect their very own communities and others across the globe.

We use our programs to instill life skills in kids and teens, in an effort to create strong youth leaders who are able to make a positive impact to better the lives of others.

We also encourage our participants to become strong roles models within their peer groups and to create opportunities to continue their work throughout their adult lives.

Kids Play International

In 2008, Tracy was encouraged by her mother to take a volunteer trip to Africa. After spending two weeks in an orphanage playing sports that were familiar to the children as well as introducing them to some new sports, she realized just how much she had learned from being involved in sport. She also saw first-hand the effects of genocide on communities and specifically the impact on gender roles, relationships and inequality for boys and girls in those communities. She left wondering, if provided with the opportunity, how much these children could learn through sport; values synonymous with Olympic ideals such as fair play, mutual respect and solidarity. Evans returned from Africa and founded the nonprofit organization Kids Play International (KPI) in 2008 with the mission of using sport as a catalyst to promote gender equity in communities impacted by genocide.

Rooted in the belief that sport can be a powerful catalyst for social change, KPI uses the powerful Olympic value of Fair Play to inspire and teach.  Fair Play means: respect, community, contribution, opportunity and moral courage –  these Fair Play characteristics motivate Olympic athletes and rural Rwandans alike to build more gender equitable societies.

The Queensland Police Legacy Scheme

The Queensland Police Legacy Scheme is an independent incorporated organisation and is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC).  It was established in 1971 to assist the eligible dependent families of deceased Queensland Police Officers, Queensland Police Officers whose spouse/partner had died and Queensland Police Officers suffering from an incurable/terminal illness.

As of August 2016, Queensland Police Legacy is supporting 51 families, including meeting the educational expenses of 81 dependent legatee children.

Queensland Police Legacy funds its important programs and activities by donations and member fundraising, investments and revenue from the distribution of its Child Safety Handbook. You can help Queensland Police Legacy continue to provide these valuable programs and activities by donating.

Donations to assist the ongoing support of the “Queensland Police Legacy families” can be made by Direct Deposit.

USANA True Health Foundation

The mission of the USANA True Health Foundation is to provide the most critical human necessities—nutrition, clothing, shelter, medical assistance, and health education to those who are suffering or in need.  The USANA True Health Foundation has two focuses – disaster relief, and hunger.

In disaster relief, the USANA True Health Foundation is in 20 countries around the world.  Dedicated to disaster relief, we work aggressively to ensure immediate help and resources are provided to those in desperate need

Hunger is more than missing a meal.  It’s a debilitating crisis affecting every corner of the globe. In fact, hunger and malnutrition is the number one health risk worldwide.

The USANA family believes in loving life and living it, yet 842 million people do not have enough food and basic nutrition. We strive to deliver the fundamentals of health and hope every day around the world.

USANA Health Sciences, Inc. covers all of the Foundation’s administrative costs, allowing us to use 100 percent of every dollar for charitable purposes.  This is very rare among charities and we are dedicated to using our funds wisely and efficiently.  Our partners are carefully examined to ensure that donations can create the greatest impact around the world.

In the hands of the USANA True Health Foundation, every dollar makes a world of difference to someone in need.  Each dollar can provide four healthy meals to hungry children. In 2015 alone, we provided $600,000 in food aid equaling 2.4 million meals. No donation is too small to make a life changing difference.
