Description
Nineteen years after Volume IV, twenty-seven years after the release of the original Get Buffed!™ book, and forty-five years after I commenced my professional coaching career, comes Get Buffed!™ V – Get Optimally Buffed!
No longer a quadrilogy – now a pentalogy!
Another 300 plus page book jammed with fantastic content and workout programs, which means you are guided to an even higher level of training!
This book is the fifth book in the famous Get Buffed!™ sequel, placing it further into the history books as the only book series in this area of interest with five sequential, flowing books. The Get Buffed!™ range takes you from the original book one through to this fifth book in a journey of getting bigger, stronger and or leaner! The book series is supported by DVDs and other educational/training support material.
Get Buffed!™ V – Get Optimally Buffed! – a book for those who value that 1% guidance that makes a massive difference in their pursuit of getting bigger, stronger and or leaner.
This is not about quantity – this is about quality. This is not about ‘training harder’. This is about training smarter. This is about the conclusions reached in the pursuit of placing athletes at the top of their game. About dominating, not just winning.
And it’s not about your age or stage of life – anyone can embrace these original, organically developed strategies that have been tested and proven in the most demanding sporting environments in the world.
If being the best you can be matters, through employing rarely known or used strategies is what you embrace, this this book is for you.
Hello Mr. King – The Get Buffed V is book is phenomenal and contains very important information on injury prevention and rehabilitation. Everything you write in the book really works and I have not found better information than that so far. I have hundreds of books on the subject of physical preparation in my personal library ranging from the 19th century to the present, but nothing can come close to the quality of the “Get Buffed” series. With regards.- Hans, SLO
Having already found life changing training advice from books Get Buffed 1,2,3 and 4, I have found Get Buffed 5 has more real-life recovery scenarios that takes training to another level, clearly using a body of knowledge unparalleled in the training community!—Vic Chan, SNG
Before I joined the KSI CMP program I would have guessed that everything I need to know about (strength) training has been published in Get Buffed 1-4. If you think there’s nothing more to learn, well, think again! This 5th edition is full of new content. Content that maybe only the KSI high level coaches and KSI athletes were familiar with. Until now. Concepts such as the keys to optimal joint health: how they can prevent injuries and at the same time optimize performance. In other words: how to stay injury-free and getting stronger. Thanks, Ian, for another book of training wisdom!-Dave Cerpentier, BEL
Let me share a bit about myself and why I am interested in your books. I am 45 years old and no longer actively involved in bodybuilding. These days, I train only occasionally, as I don’t have the time to dedicate myself fully to it. However, my interest in your books stems from a desire to preserve the knowledge they offer. I want to have them on hand for the future, perhaps for my son, who is currently 10 years old, or even for advising someone else.
When I used to train more seriously, I found your programs to be exceptional and highly effective. It’s truly remarkable that I have not encountered anything similar or even close in quality since then. The results I achieved with your methods were unparalleled. The only aspect I found lacking at the time, if I may note, was more focus on shoulder isolation—programs that could deliver significant improvements in that area. Or perhaps I simply missed those.
Regardless, my primary reason for pursuing your books is to safeguard the unique knowledge you’ve created and to include it in my personal collection. I can confidently say that no one else offers anything as effective or innovative as what you have shared in your articles on T-mag.com.
Thank you once again for your time and for the invaluable work you’ve contributed to the fitness world. Best regards,—Mate B.
