Description
Ian’s a unique way of doing the squat is not the easiest technique to implement, but Ian believes the rewards for making the effort will be far in excess of the cost of the effort to do so!
This DVD discusses and demonstrates many variables of the squat and their ramifications on the training effect. Body position variables: feet width & angle, knee & hip movement, trunk & pelvis angles, and head position. Equipment variables: rack height, how to select the bar & plates, and wrist & knee straps. Management issues: warm-up, stretching, warm-up sets, arousal and recovery. Safety issues: chalk, spotters and knee sleeves. It also touches briefly on the squat
variations – including the front squat, the split and overhead squat, and the single leg squat variations.
The DVD concludes with a special section dedicated to more advanced issues such as belts and wraps, smelling salts and lifting suits. This disc is packed with information!

Ian, after watching the DVD I thought since I am squatting next I will learn how to squat your way! …I did my workout…and let me tell you squatting your way was different at first and I had to go somewhat lighter but I liked it… until today! MY QUADS ARE KILLING ME!… It is unbelievable! I think I have fairly decent quad development but I can’t help but wonder where I would be if I had learned from you years ago! Thanks for the pain – and subsequent growth!–Matt
