Huddle #42 – Chat with Victoria Felkar, Sport Scientist and Female Athlete Advocate
In this podcast we chat with Canadian researcher, practitioner and educator Victoria Felkar (MA, BKIN). She is a respected leader within the industry for her innovative and integrative approaches to health and performance. As an interdisciplinary researcher and instructor, she works across the fields of kinesiology, medicine, sport medicine, critical studies and the humanities. Victoria is currently completing doctoral studies at the University of British Columbia, with a focus on female hormone manipulation within sport and medicine. In this podcast we cover a range of topics including training history (e.g. the origins of kettlebell training) and the specific needs of the female athlete.
