Love this. Happens to often in the “rehab” world. Clients come 2-3x per week because they “need” the hands of good of the therapist. Haven’t thought of it that way for training.
Love this so much. I legitimately never thought about not supervising every PT session. It makes sense to have a longer PT session every now and then to educate and monitor a client and provide them with an independent program. This frees up time for me and potentially means a better outcome for the client. I will be looking at the way I structure my client sessions moving forward and looking to move to a model like this. I think some of my clients will be a little reticent as they see our sessions as their “motivation” however if a client wants a result it’s not my job to motivate them to seek that. Thanks Ian
