robert – re “technical models of skill are taught by ian such as judo jiu jitsu, boxing.” – our coaches can see that unfold. Well, maybe you can, maybe you won’t. For example, in march 2023 in Reno NV i took the skill of a pro quarterback receiving and distributiong thej ball and changed it. About an nour session, phenomenal content. However only about 7 KSI coaches qualified AND made the effort to witness it. Just last week i took the skill of a motorcross start on sand with a state level racer. This is what we do every day, and have done so for decades. No athlete i work with is acting in the skill department without significant review and input on their techical model. Just another thing that separates us from other so called ‘s&c’ coaches.

I have put athletes on podiums at the olymipcs in some cases more about the change to their technical model than to the body. And yes, these athletes are real, have names, i can name them, and if asked they would confirm. (i share that because a few of my ‘colleagues’ bullshit so much about how many Omplicans etc. yet up to 100% of what they say is total fabrication..)

The caveat is we don’t do this in public domain. and many believe that all i have to teach them is currently in public domain and therefore see no reason to progress up the KSI coaching leves, or to be straight, most don’t see the benefit of even starting the KSI Coaching program.

” I am a little trepidashish (?) that a word) of starting your KSI material-if it is just the same as I have been reading and leaning-VHS tapes! Lol. For decades…”

If a physical prep coach really knew what we did they would not be so relectant. However many are under the influence of their ‘guru’ and believe it or not, these ‘guru’s actrively discourage their followers from finding us, because then they, the ‘guru’ would be foujnd out, because no one can change the athlete and the subsequent performance outcomes like we can!

I discuss that in detail in my various publications, including in a recent interview I did recently for Andrew Read. Of the four dominant physical qualities, speed is the first to be dropped generally speaking, when dealing with general population. Speed training obviously has benefits, but i suggest the benefits are often over-promoted when manufactuers find ways to monetize it through equipment, and corrupt the training message for commercial gain.
